Banpo Acro River Park

Located in Banpo-dong of central Seoul, the site was in need of renovation due to worn out facilities after 40 years of use since completion of the apartment in 1977. Other than the apartment building improvements, Acro River Park offers a green complex where people, nature, and culture merge together through sustainable approach coping with climate change by treating stormwater, and 6 themed gardens considering the site’s regional feature surrounded by an international village and schools and offering opportunity to understand various cultures in and out of the complex, open community spaces enhancing communication between residents of all ages in this large-scale apartment complex.
